In my UCLA Unity I: 3D Game Design and Game Engines course, I completed the ‘Super Boring Video Game’ assignment, where I created a rolling marble game scene inspired by a rare southern California hail storm. Titled ‘Rube Goldberg Hail Boat,’ this proof of concept incorporated animation through physics, gravity, and rigidbody components. This hail boat would have triggers on each rail, tallying up points. This game includes moving boats, falling hail, and a time limit, challenging players to catch as much hail as possible, before time runs out and the storm ends.
