This is a photo of my previous little hole in the wall. My letterpress studio was one of 20 creative studios that made up Seattle’s oldest artist collective, Salty Dog Studios, once home to the Superior Biscuit Company (c. 1936). My time machine was where I enjoyed experimenting with analog technology. Here, I hand-mixed my own Pantone inks and turned abstract ideas into something tangible. My oldest cast iron presses date back to the late 1800’s. My time machine is currently in a deep slumber as I plot and plan my next hole in the wall, still to be determined as of this post (10/26/17).
